Artist's Comments
After seeing Batman Begins, which really impressed me, I was inspired to do a portrait of Christian Bale in the Batman costume. However, I generally don't like drawing to references, so I wanted to make it a little harder for myself. To that end, rather than using a reference of Batman himself, I used a reference of Christian Bale's face and drew the Batman costume over top of it. I'm not sure if it's right in the details, but I like the way it turned out so I don't mind too much. Enjoy!
