A drawing of one of my all-time favorite anime characters, Lord Ashram from Record of Lodoss War. I tried to keep this pretty true to the way he's drawn in the series, with my main focus being on the armor. I did, however, do it from memory without reference, so it is probably not exactly correct in the details. Basically, I wanted to capture the darkness and power of his armor, and cast him in a sort of dramatic light. This is the first thing I've CGd in a whiiiiiiile... I guess I'm ok with how it turned out, but I think I could have been a little bit better.
