This is a detail of the main portal of the Taj Mahal. I did this mainly as an exercise to learn how to draw different textures in marble, and to practice my drawing skills of buildings in preparation for my architecture studies. I couldn't find a picture that clearly displayed the Mogul calligraphy on the thick band around the gate, but I wanted to use correct Arabic to maintain the integrity of the piece, so I had a Sudanese friend of mine pick out a Quranic verse that he liked (disclaimer: I personally am not religious at all, but have no problem with any religions or religious people of any type). The main verses quoted are Surahs 2:284 and 2:285, with the beginning of 2:286. Obviously my writing here doesn't look anything like the real Mogul calligraphy, but that stuff is impossibly complex and I have no idea how to do it, so I tried to do the best I could. I still like it.
